Annual Snug Meeting - 2019
Scottish NMR spectroscopists met for the 5th time at the annual SNUG meeting in the beautiful setting of Loch Ard. Arriving via the Blair Drummond Safari & Adventure Park, we were greeted by blue skies at the Forrest Hill MacDonald hotel.
The Firbush format was adhered to with two half day of talks and Thursday outdoors activities. Many tested their courage on the Go Ape circuit in Aberfoyle, others went walking in uncertain weather. The highlight of the late afternoon was a Whisky tasting (£5 can go a long way!). The weather deteriorated on Friday and we have travelled back in a heavy rain, nevertheless, refreshed and enriched by our yearly encounter.
